FABO sponsor of the 42° GP Industria e Artigianato.

FABO has always celebrated its bond with the territory and its love for Tuscany, land of excellence and symbol of the Made in Italy innovation, supporting local sports clubs and events, such as the Pistoia Basket team and the “G.P. Industria e Artigianato”, that hold in quality their common denominator.

FABO has supported as lead the 42° edition of the “Gran Premio Industria e Artigianato”, held on sunday the 10th of march and organized by the U.C. Larcianese, with the patronage of the Tuscany Region, the Province of Pistoia and the Municipality of Larciano. This important road cycling race takes place every year in the town of Larciano, where the company has its headquarters.

Since 2005 the “G.P. Industria e Artigianato” belongs to the UCI Europe Tour circuit as a category 1.1 race and has been promoted to category 1HC in 2017, therefore a race gaining more and more importance in the landscape of professional cycling that has been aired on national television by Rai Sport and streamed online internationally.

In a wet edition, the last 10km to the arrival have seen a two bikers’ flight for victory: on Larciano’s finish line, the german Maximilian Schachmann (Bora – Hansgrohe) pranks the italian Mattia Cattaneo (Androni – Sidermec).

After the “Trofeo Laigueglia”, the “G.P. Industria e Artigianato” represents the second appointment with the Cycling Cup; this race, set on the day after the “Strade Bianche” race, has now become a standing appointment for many enthusiasts and sports fans, confirmed by the participation of seven World Tour Teams among the twenty-five present.
