222 is a blue adhesive tape resistant to low temperatures and therefore specifically recommended in the refrigeration and cold chain sector.
It is characterized by a BOPP (biaxially oriented polypropylene) support and water-based Acrylic adhesive, with noisy unwinding. Suitable for packaging light and medium weight packages, due to its technical characteristics it offers excellent performance over wide temperature ranges, in humid and cold transport and storage environments as well as on boxes with a high recycled cardboard content.
Although specifically designed to meet the needs of storage in refrigerated environments and cold chain logistics, to ensure its maximum functionality, the application of the tape must take place in standard conditions, i.e. at room temperature.
The product is suitable for use both with manual dispensers and on automatic lines.
Available in two colors, blue and transparent.
This tape has obtained the INGEDE certification. This is an analysis of adhesive removability, which certifies that the tape can be easily separated from the packaging on which it is applied during the paper and cardboard recycling process.
Also available in the following versions:
- printed – with sandwich or spine flexographic technology.
- easy cutting – for easy tearing of the tape by hand.
- jumbo roll – converter format.
Technical information, storage and use of the product
The product must be used within 12 months from the delivery date (6 months if jumbo). It is recommended to keep the material in its original packaging, away from heat sources and protected from direct light. The storage temperature must be between 15 and 30° C and the relative humidity between 40 and 60%. For storage temperatures different from those indicated, recondition the product to the levels described above. The technical data reported in the sheets result from the average of the analyzes obtained on normal production. Aging can determine the variation of some technical and aesthetic characteristics of the product within the time limits mentioned above without the quality and functionality of the same being compromised. The technical data reported are to be understood with tolerance +/- 10% and may be modified at any time for production needs or technical updates.
