The Enterprise 4.0 Project
Combining Industry 4.0 with Research & Development to become a Enterprise 4.0.
This project is born from the need and desire felt by companies, especially SMEs, to become a “4.0 Company”, counting in this definition companies that carried out Research & Development projects when digitalizing the company to become a Industry 4.0 (Enterprise 4.0 = R & D + INDUSTRY 4.0).
The cross-cutting activity in the various sectors of the companies involved in the project is an added value and finds a common thread in the approach to Industry 4.0, where the knowledge of different sectors is converged into a common project. The development of the project will allow each company to draw on knowledge typical of other sectors, useful for enhancing the Tuscan products in a globalized world, and to take advantage of universities’ know-how, on the basis of specific needs, for the definition of a correct R&D activity in an Enterprises 4.0 perspective.
