Packaging tape can become a marketing tool customized with the company logo and colors: an effective way to increase brand visibility and make it recognizable.
For the customization of adhesive tapes, Fabo uses two types of flexographic printing: back printing and sandwich printing.
Flexographic printing, known as “sandwich”, involves inserting ink between the film and the adhesive, so as to obtain higher quality prints that are sharper, brighter and more durable over time. The ink, protected between the two layers, resists abrasion and rubbing due to use and aging of the tape, ensuring greater durability over time. Fabo flexographic printing allows four-color printing and up to 8 colors.
Back printing is also a flexographic printing method. The work cycle starts from a reel of already adhesive tape that is printed on the back (hence the name), that is, on the external part of the support. The print is applied with corona treatment in the case of water-based acrylic. In the case of hot melt, our jumbetti are already prepared and ready to be printed on the back without adding release or primer.
