Gummed paper is a type of adhesive tape made of kraft paper, a strong and resistant paper, and glue obtained from plant sources (corn starch or potatoes, not suitable for food use). The adhesive is activated with the use of water distributed uniformly on the tape, through special manual moisteners or automatic taping machines for industrial use.
The tapes are available in smooth or reinforced versions, in brown or white, and can also be requested with FSC® certified paper. Gummed paper perfectly closes any type of cardboard, including the most difficult ones, such as recycled paper or very heavy boxes.
It is an ecological material and completely recyclable together with the paper packaging, perfect for packaging and shipping applications.
It is a natural burglar-proof because it becomes one with the packaging, making a strong grip on the cardboard on which it is applied.
Suitable for closing heavy packages with special manual, semi-automatic and automatic dispensers.
